Fished with Juan and his crew in June on a one-day trip in search of Tuna. From the first moment until we returned to the marina, the experience was first-class all the way. These guys know how to fish and were super excited to get us “on the bite”. If you want to maximize your potential to get into some nice fish, Saltmen Mexico is a great choice.

Ive known Juan for many years and have done several fishing trips with him, from ocean to fresh water. Besides being fun, and positive company, his knowledge of the water, and fishing is exceptional . My most recent trip with Juan and 3 friends was to AguaMilpas, in Nayarit. Juan coordinated transportation, accommodation, boats and meals along with days of catching hundreds of bass. It was truly the fishing trip of a lifetime. Can’t wait for my next. Anyone would be extremely lucky to experience Juan’s expertise, love and enthusiasm for nature, water and fishing.

Ive known Juan for almost 10 years, we met in Hawaii, we had great times there, after that trip I always knew saltwater ran in his veins, he was one of the true watermen... until I went fishing with him, then I learned fish blood runs in his veins! Juan is an extremely experienced fisherman, and knows the Nayarit and Jalisco coast just as well as all the other old salts from the region, he know what baits the fish like and all the good "clavos" (spots) for Pelagic and shallower water species. He is a great guy all around and I truly appreciate his friendship.Anyone would be extremely lucky to experience Juan’s expertise, love and enthusiasm for nature, water and fishing.

Went fishing with Juan (or Pana as we call him) off the Maria's Islands. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and a great host on our fishing charter. He was on it! Always paying attention and concentrating on getting big tuna. On that trip we landed a 250lber and several between 100 and 200 lbs. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to catch big fish!
